How we check
What you do before a piece is listed, and what you say when you can't be certain.
1
Checked in hand
The label, the stitching, the hardware and the way it's put together, against what the house was doing that year.
2
Dated, not guessed
A union label, an RN number or a care tag dates a piece far better than a silhouette ever will.
3
Said plainly
When we can't be certain, the listing says so. We'd rather sell it as unbranded than guess at a name.
